Dark Dream

A successful author suffering from writer's block moves to a quiet new town. Once she settles in, she begins having strange frightening dreams that may not be dreams after all... but a warning.

Dark Dream is a silent horror movie made for Wes Miles' 2013 Dreadfest Horror Film Festival. My inspiration for this movie came from the writings of H.P. Lovecraft and the artwork of Swiss Surrealist H.R. Giger, known for creating nightmarish imagery and his biomechanical style. Very scary stuff, yet there's a sort of beauty to it.

In the same spirit as MEREDITH, Dark Dream is a silent, black and white film, paying tribute to the classic black and white horror flicks.
